Finally Fixed

I thought I was going to have to abandon this blog and begin again but my email problem is finally fixed.  I hope this gives me the much needed kick in the pants to create some new art.  I can't really explain what happened but the fix was fairly painless thanks to the English speakers at Apple.

I can be reasonably sure that the roads are deserted right now in anticipation of the Big Game.  Sure don't want to be at Gillette Stadium tonight.  I think I will check in periodically as I only want to know the bottom line.  I'm sure this will be the main topic of conversation tomorrow, especially if they win.

Jury Duty

I swear, my name gets pulled out every three years to the day.  Yes, I have to go again in March.  The last time I got a trial and I never want to do that again because it was one of those not so clear cut things and it was not obvious to me.

The new year starts up with the shows.  I entered the SSAC gallery artists' In and Out theme with a landscape and one of my pieces from a RISD project.  I will know in a couple of days if either got in.

The Duxbury Winter Juried show is also coming up.  I am entering an abstract also done at RISD.  This is a tough show to get into and I seem to get in every other year so this is my off year.  Let's see if I can break the cycle.

Still trying to figure out what happened to my Mac mail.  I have been avaoiding a trip to the Apple store until now but this has gone far enough.  

Locked Out!

I have been locked out of this blog from my home computer again so I am blogging from work.  This is all very disturbing because it could mean a trip to the Apple store and they may have to CHANGE things.  I hate it when things on the computer change.

Anyway, I hope all of you out there have a better year.  I have promised myself to do more art and put myself out there for more opportunities.
